Edleigh Construction is a family-run construction company based in Newton Abbot, delivering extensions, renovations, conversions and new builds across South Devon.

Since 2015, we’ve grown largely through recommendations, repeat clients and our reputation for quality workmanship, clear communication and a professional approach.

We offer a fully managed construction service, coordinating the trades, materials and day-to-day running of your project so you don’t have to. We can also liaise with designers, engineers and Building Control where required, giving you one team and one point of contact throughout your build.

You bring us your plans. We take care of the build.

Our Story

After leaving the Royal Marines, Alex built his career in construction as a self-employed carpenter, developing more than 20 years of hands-on experience across carpentry, renovations, extensions and larger building projects. His eye for detail and passion for transforming properties eventually led to the creation of Edleigh Construction.

Alongside Alex, Victoria brings more than 20 years of experience across customer service, finance, quality and business management. As a Chartered Certified Accountant, she oversees the commercial and client-management side of Edleigh, helping ensure projects are well organised, clearly communicated and financially controlled.

Together, we combine practical construction experience with professional project and business management. Having undertaken major renovation and development projects ourselves, we understand how important it is to know that your home, your budget and your project are in safe hands.

Our aim is simple: to provide the kind of building service we would want to receive ourselves.
